“It will be special at every level – A Rally to end all Rallies! We don’t want singers with no talent, but big fees to put you to sleep, we’ve told them all to stay home,” Trump posted to Truth Social on Thursday. “All we want is you, me, a few speakers, and the Greatest Music ever played, the same Music you have listened to for years!”

Trump said the rally will take place June 24 at 7 p.m. He added that Lee Greenwood, who has participated in many of Trump’s events, will sing “God Bless the U.S.A.” to introduce the president.

Additionally, Christopher Macchio “will sing Nessun Dorma, Hallelujah, Ave Maria, God Bless America and others,” according to Trump.

Trump’s announcement comes after several artists dropped out of planned performances for the “Great American State Fair,” a 16-day exposition from June 25-July 10 on the National Mall hosted by Freedom 250 – a public-private partnership backed by Trump.

“The Great American State Fair will bring together all 56 U.S. states and territories,” Freedom 250 said, “featuring live entertainment, immersive exhibits, patriotic tributes, innovation showcases, cultural programming and family-friendly attractions stretching from the U.S. Capitol to the Washington Monument.”

Trump accused the artists of getting “the yips” and said he was thinking about taking their place as the “Number One Attraction anywhere in the World” and giving a “major” speech.

Some of the artists who will no longer participate include Bret Michaels, The Commodores, Young MC and Martina McBride.
