July 12 (Reuters) – The Strait of Hormuz is open to all vessels and U.S. military forces are “positioned and prepared” to ensure freedom of navigation, U.S. Central Command said on Sunday, a day after U.S. and Iranian forces exchanged fire and Iran said it had closed the vital waterway.
