Nvidia donated a system based \u200bon its GB300 &#8220;Grace Blackwell&#8221; servers, its most advanced AI computers, to the NPS Foundation, a nonprofit connected to the school.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Nvidia and the NPS did not disclose the size of the system, \u200bbut confirmed it has been installed at the NPS campus in Monterey, California, \u2060where \u2060Adm. Samuel J. Paparo, \u2060commander of \u200bU.S. Pacific Command, and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang planned to hold an event to \u200bannounce the system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>While Nvidia&#8217;s \u2060Blackwell chips are planned for use in U.S. government supercomputers built by the U.S. Department of Energy, the donation on Wednesday is the first direct use of Nvidia&#8217;s most advanced servers by the U.S. military.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cAI will be a backbone of America\u2019s defense,\u201d\u00a0 \u2060Huang said in a statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Both the U.S. and China are racing to deploy \u2060AI for military purposes ranging from developing targeting lists to drone warfare.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/officemovingamerica.com\/?p=753\">GEO Group Worker Charged With Assault in Shooting of ICE Protester in Colorado<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cAs we modernize our technology, we must also modernize how we educate our leaders,\u201d Adm.
