The White House \u2060did \u2060not immediately reply to \u2060a request \u200bfor comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Earlier this year, the U.S. federal judiciary withdrew a chapter \u200bfrom the newest edition \u2060of its reference manual on scientific evidence that addressed climate change after Republican state attorneys general argued it was biased against fossil fuel companies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Federal Judicial Center, the judiciary&#8217;s research arm, incorporated \u2060a chapter addressing climate change as part of a long-planned update \u2060of the manual, the fourth edition of which was released in December.
