June 19 (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump \u2060said \u2060he might have viewed \u2060artificial intelligence company Anthropic as a national security threat \u200blast week, but he no longer does, according to an interview with “The \u200cAxios Show” published on \u200cFriday.<\/p>\n

Senior Anthropic technical staff were scheduled to meet with Trump \u2060administration officials \u2060earlier this week to discuss a dispute over foreign access \u200bto its most advanced AI models, Fable 5 and Mythos 5. The company last week disabled access for all users to those models after \u200bTrump ordered Anthropic to block foreign nationals from accessing them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
